SWAP was developed to facilitate deployment of new or replacement Cisco IP phones to their designated users.
You can use it to:
• Update the MAC addresses and download predefined configurations for new phones
• Reload configuration for replacement phones
Use SWAP to quickly assign an auto registered phone to its proper owner.
SWAP eliminates the time consuming need to scan phone MAC addresses and label phones for specific users. Simply place the phone at the proper location, allow it to auto register and SWAP the auto registered DN for the actual DN.

• Auto Registration must be enabled in CUCM
• Compatible with versions 5.0+ of CUCM
